For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. – Hebrews 9:15 (NIV)
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. – John 1:16-17 (NIV)
Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will. – Matthew 26:31-33 (NIV)

Thank you to those that attended our Candlelight Service on Sunday at the "1800" church. As Rev. Carol stated during the service; "We Started Something", and also with HOPE you will have Peace, Faith, Love, Truth, Joy & Unity. www.HillCenterChurch.com
Our Rev. Carol Snow-Asher Biography Carol Snow-Asher is an ordained pastor with both the American Baptist Churches and the United Church of Christ. She served as pastor in several churches in Massachusetts before moving permanently to Hill; she has served the Center Harbor Congregational Church UCC since 2006. Ministry is a third career after a long stint as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Brasil and a number of years teaching foreign languages in Providence, RI high schools. Although not a “native” of Hill, her paternal grandparents lived both at the family farmhouse (“SnowHaven” at the end of Snow Road) and in the old village, where her father received his early education. Carol’s family spent many vacations in Hill and her older brother, Frank, now lives in the renovated farmhouse with its grand view of the Presidential Range. As a child, Carol and her family joined with her grandparents to worship at the Hill Center Church. Carol now lives in a log home that she built. She loves to nurture the gardens in her yard, even as she nurtures her own “inner garden” and seeks to help others to tend both inner and outer gardens. She is delighted to be able to lead worship in this historic church and to help begin the process of rebuilding the congregation. She knows that Grampy and Grammy (Irving C. and Eliza Dean Snow) are smiling!
